While we were sheltered in place over the winter, teacher, writer and public historian Paul Durica held trivia games with the Hideout over zoom as part of our Rec Room series with Soup and Bread which raised thousands of dollars for local food pantries thanks to our generous community. With the help of the Chicago History Museum and The Newberry Library Paul is bringing trivia to the Hideout patio every 3rd Tuesday of the month! Tickets are sliding scale and all proceeds benefit different mutual aid funds each month.
This month Hideout Trivia commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire and the 50th anniversary of the Chicago Reader, with some special guests and music by Mr. and Mrs. Wednesday Night.
This month's Hideout Trivia is produced in partnership with the Chicago Brewseum, Chicago History Museum, and Newberry Library and is sponsored by the Conrad Seipp Brewing Company.
All ticket sales support a community-based mutual aid organization!
