Hey Hey Everyone,
Friday we start off early with Jon Langford and Martin Billheimer’s Story Night. They will be presenting Chapter 2: Sex Legends of Rock with special guest Cynthia Plastercaster.
Later on that evening is the highly anticipated record release show for the raucous Fake Limbs! They’ll be joined by Blasted Diplomats, Blizzard Babies, and the one and only DJ Supreme Court spinning all the deep cuts in-between sets and afterwards.
Saturday we are happy to have the 3rd Annual Pickin’ For The Kids benefit for the Intonation Music Workshop. This year’s bluegrass benefit includes Bubbly Creek, Hayward, and Trevor McSpadden from The Hoyle Brothers.
The dance party this week is helmed by DJ Jon Kirby from the Grammy nominated reissue label, The Numero Group. Mr. Kirby hails from North Carolina and will be busting out some southern soul rarities for you to shake your ass to into the wee hours of the morning.
Monday is McMorial Day according to Robbie Fulks will be celebrating by playing Irish music with Kathleen Keane.
Tuesday it’s time for our favorite literary smack down with Write Club. Later that evening Barehand Dixieland will be bringing their swinging sounds from the 20s and 30s to the front bar.
Wednesday the Immediate Sound Series presents In The Country led by Norweignen pianist Morten Qvenild.
