This Week at the Hideout!

Hello friends!
Thank you all who came out to the Hideout Block Party this past weekend.  It was an amazing weekend and a big part of what makes it so special is seeing all of our Hideout family there.  We hope you had a grand time!
Autumn is almost here and we keep chugging along.  Now to this week’s events
Tonight we have the last Veggie Bingo.  It looks a little drizzly out there but don’t let it deter you.  This will be a big night with great prizes.  The grill will be in full effect, Miss Mia & Ratso will be calling, and we’ll all be toasting to another great bingo season!
Following bingo, the Immediate Sound Series presents Vandermark/Lonberg-Holm.  Solo sets from Ken Vandermark on the reeds and Fred Longberg-Holm on cello & guitar.  They come together for the second set.

Friday, we have the improvised musical gameshow Shame That Tune with hosts Brian Costello and Abraham Levitan.  If you’ve never been its a favorite of the Hideout’s and a great amount of laughs for your buck.
Later, we get a little down and dirty with an all Nashville-based lineup including Sarah Potenza & the Tall Boys.  Also performing are Derek Hoke and Kevin Gordon.  You won’t wanna miss this rare opportunity to see these Nashville artists get down and dirty with soul, country and rock and roll as only Tennessee can do.
Saturday, we have Panoramic & True.  Formed by songwriter John Lennox after cutting his teeth in Montreal’s mid-2000 scene, Chicago’s Panoramic & True deals a heavy and often orchestrated brand of pop  Mooner andSpaces of Disappearance open for a fun and troubling night of dance-punk influenced electronica.
