Tonight we have the second to last Veggie Bingo. Annie Coleman & Janet Ecklebarger are calling and North Lawndale Greening Committee gets the proceeds. We can’t believe there is only one left after this! The summer most be almost over.
Following bingo, the Immediate Sound Series presents Wilkerson, Jr./Baker/Sandstrom/Hunt. We have Ed Wilkerson, Jr. on reeds, Jim Baker on keyboards, Brian Sandstrom on bass & guitar and Steve Hunt on drums for two sets of free jazz.

Back on Tuesday, Outloud Chicago and In Our Words present: Word is Out, a reading series of queers and company telling their stories. This one’s for the fans! We will be hearing stories from fans about their favorite characters and stories with the theme Fan Fic. Whether it’s a story about fandom or our personal stories based upon popular culture entertainment, writers will put themselves into their favorite stories.
Later on Tuesday, we have the second night of Rick Rizzo‘s Tuesday Night Residency where he will be joined by Janet Bean and form the Eleventh Dream Duo. This is an electric set with Janet on the drums and Rick on guitar. This will be a very cool set for Eleventh Dream Day fans and newcomers alike.
That is all! See you at the Block Party! We’ll be there.
