This Week At The Hideout

Hey Hey Everyone,

Tonight it’s another edition of Hideout Veggie Bingo.  All proceeds this evening support the Fulton Street Flower & Vegetable Garden and our callers this week will be Elizabeth Gomez & Mike Sula.  As usual all the hot dogs are generously donated by Hot Dougs and there will be loads of amazing prizes to win all night long!
Later this evening the Immediate Sound Series presents The Mike Reed Group which has Mike behind the kit and joined by James Falzone on clarinet, Nick Mazzarella on alto sax, & Jason Roebke on bass.

Friday to Sunday the Hideout turns into an Acid Test den of hedonism for the performances of HAIR: The Musical. There’s only 4 shows and we highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance online or from behind the bar.  Friday and Saturday night’s shows at 8pm are almost sold out and there’s still some tickets left for Sunday’s shows at 3pm and 8pm.
There’s also some great dance parties taking place on Friday and Saturday night at 11pm after HAIR.  Friday the psychedelic jams will be brought to you by none other than DJ Plastic Cimewave and Saturday is being billed as Fleetwood Mac Spaceship Dance Party which sounds pretty heady to say the least!
Monday we’ve got the Robbie Fulks Band
Tuesday we’ve got a rare appearance by Eleventh Dream Day’s Rick Rizzo performing solo in the front bar!
We’ve also got a bunch of new dates that we added including a rare stateside performance by legendary U.K. guitarist and singer/songwriter, Michael Chapman, and the one and only Peter Brötzmann coming back to aurally ausult us with his horns as he performs a duo set with vibraphone extraordinare, Jason Adasiewicz!
