Josh Spinner is an indie artist whose music invites listeners into a world of introspective storytelling, blending rock, Americana, and a touch of country twang. Growing up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Josh was captivated by a wide range of musical influences, from the timeless sounds of 70s Southern California bands like The Eagles and Jackson Browne to the raw, evocative style of modern indie acts like Pinegrove. This unique mix lends his music both nostalgic charm and contemporary relevance.

Josh’s career gained momentum during his college years at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, where he played house shows and performed at the Canopy Club. His powerful yet intimate performances quickly built him a dedicated following. Since returning to Chicago, he’s become a familiar presence at iconic venues like Schubas Tavern, Subterranean, and Lincoln Hall, where his music continues to captivate fans. Known as the epitome of a hardworking musician, Josh spends most nights immersed in songwriting, refining his craft, and connecting deeply with his fan base.
