Tonight we have Al Scorch’s Feast of Friendship. With a large array of artists including Al Scorch’s Country-Soul Ensemble and Man is Man playing in the back room. Things kick off with Adventure Sandwich, Sima Cunningham & Chris Kimmon playing the front during the day. Everything Is Terrible videos all night. And wrapping up with DJ Sets from Impala Sound Champions and East of Edens Soul Express, this is a great way to hold on the the spirit for one last day.
Friday we have Kill All Comedy featuring the strangest and most absurd comedy going on in Chicago. Recently named by Chicago Magazine as the Best Emerging Comedy Troupe of 2013 who say “Remarkably fearless, unshackled, and often jaw-dropping solo, sketch, and standup comedy…Predicted next act? Fame, glory, and sold-out shows.”
Later we have Ashtray Boy originally formed in Chicago in 1992 but currently residing in Australia. Led by Randall Lee this is a rare appearance by a legendary Chicago band! Temporary Pharaohs and Collagesopen.
Saturday, we have The Bribes. The Bribes play dirty, moody, imaginative blues-rock from the soul. Relying on genre-bending songwriting originality and good old-fashioned musical instrumentation, the Chicago-based band has played a dynamic brand of rock and roll for toe-tapping audiences all around the city since 2011. Baby Money and Donnie Biggins (of The Shame Band) open.
Saturday night Dance Party is Maximum Joy featuring the danciest new-wave, punk and pop to get your feet moving.
Sunday we have Making Out with Wes Perry & Friends. Huffington Post recently says “Masterfully blended comedy, theatre, performance art and that special shine and sharpness of Windy City teeth” about this dynamic show.

Tuesday we have our New Years Eve Spectacular with Girl Group Chicago! Lights are low and ghostly piano keys ring out into the crowd; in the dark, a spotlight falls on an ensemble of twenty women. Girl Group Chicago magically recreates the aesthetic of the 1960’s with their charming harmonies and custom-made, A-lined, mod-cloth dresses. The Yolks are opening and we have DJ sets from Jill Hopkins of vocalo.org andJames Porter of East of Edens Soul Express. Free champagne toast! Get your tickets now, sure to sell out.
