The South Got Somethin’ to Say celebrates Southern roots and Midwest livin’ in a variety show featuring Chicago-based performers with Southern connections.
In late September, Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc across Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, devastating many of the mountain towns there. As winter looms and the rebuilding process continues, Bless Your Heart Chicago is hosting a variety show fundraiser to show solidarity with our southeastern communities by raising funds to send back home. Southern comfort meets Midwestern hospitality for a night of music, drag performances, comedy, and more!
Tickets will be available on a sliding scale with the option for additional donations. All funds from ticket sales will be sent to Beloved Asheville and ROAR (Rural Organizing and Resilience), two organizations on the ground doing work to provide direct aid and support hurricane victims in the southeastern Appalachian region.
Please note: All attendees will be required to wear masks unless actively performing, eating, or drinking. Rapid testing before attendance is strongly recommended.
