This Week At The Hideout / Hideout Block Party & A.V. Fest Info

Hey Hey Everyone,
This is easily the biggest week of the year over here at The Hideout so lets get into it!

Tonight it’s another evening of Hideout Veggie Bingo.  The callers this week are Helen Tsatsos and Cleetus Friedman, and all proceeds will benefit the Xochiquetzal Peace Garden at Whittier School.  Hot Doug’s is donating the dogs as usual, and there’s loads of great prizes from a huge bag of organic veggies donated by Irv & Shelly’s to beer from Three Floyds!

Later this evening we are very excited to host what is sure to be one of the most memorable shows of 2012!  The Immediate Sound Series presents: Peter Brötzmann and Jason Adasiewicz Duo.  Here’s what Ben Ratliff of the NY Times had to say about their show in Manhattan earlier this week, “they dived into a system, with intuitive dimensions of tone, rhythm, energy and narrative, in which it seemed that nothing could possibly go wrong.”  Tickets are almost sold out for this show so be sure to get some in advance today before it’s too late.

This weekend we are so excited to host the sold out Hideout Block Party & A.V. Fest!  This is easily the biggest and best block party to date, the weather is looking great, and we’ve got a few surprises in store for you each day!
