| Soup & Bread is back for its 3rd year! Soup and Bread is the Hideout’s free dinner series to benefit neighborhood food pantries. Soup and Bread nights start Wednesday, January 5th and continue Wednesday evenings through mid-April! Check out all the details on the Soup and Bread writeup and the Soup & Bread blog. And it gets better! This year our great Soup and Bread organizers Martha Bayne and Sheila Sachs are also offering Soup and Bread Soupscriptions for the first time. Receive a set of 6 beautiful recipe cards mailed to your home monthly, and get your Soupscription for $10 off at The Hideout Holiday Sale on Tuesdays 12/14 & 12/21. Each monthly card pack contains five new recipes for soups and on for bread drawn from the pool of talented professional and amateur cooks participating in Soup and Bread. Soup and Bread will also have packs of cards from previous years’ soups (like the ones shown above) available for purchase, and they make great stocking stuffers. A portion of all sales benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
