Press roundup 2/8

Ooh, the weekend has brought another wagonload of delicious links for your midweek reading pleasure.
Both the ChicagoNow blog Collecting Chicago and fashion blog edropoff recapped tween fashion sensation Tavi Gevinson’s appearance at Friday’s Interview Show. Collecting Chicago blogger Ximena also digressed to recap her her first visit to the Hideout itself (Note to Ximena: The street lighting is only out temporarily!). And, over at her own blog, Tavi recapped her outfit.
Meanwhile, some old school Hideout regulars got some love as well. The Daily Herald talked to Robbie Fulks about his yearlong-and-counting Monday night residency at the Hideout.
On Monday, Tribune music critic Howard Reich profiled MacArthur “genius” Ken Vandermark; he performs March 2 at the Hideout. And the blog Consequence of Sound offered up a terrifically evocative review of Sunday night’s Joan of Arc Lightbox Orchestra throwdown.
