The Widow Cameron
The Widow Cameron is the seventh album from long-time Chicago poet and songwriter Cameron McGill and his first since 2013’s Gallows Etiquette. Produced by Daniel Johnson (Judah Johnson/Patois) and engineered by Neil Strauch (Iron & Wine, Bonnie Prince Billy, Andrew Bird, Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s), the album was recorded at Chicago’s Shirk Studios and features bassist Rodrigo Palma and drummer Charles Koltak. McGill is the author of two poetry collections: Meridians (Willow Springs Books) and In the Night Field (Augury Books/Brooklyn Arts Press). He teaches creative writing at Washington State University, where he co-directs the Visiting Writers Series. He lives, writes, and plays the piano in Idaho.

Slow Witch

Slow Witch is the ever morphing solo project of enigmatic Chicago musician Angela Mullenhour (Touched by Ghoul, Sybris, Coins, Pink Frost). Simultaneously old-timey and new wave, heartbreaking and hilarious; an unguarded bard with a ripened voice, she is a clumsy siren who has been luring audiences into her own special brand of bottomless pit for over two decades.
