Milou Moon with Lane Beckstrom & Gloss Coats

Milou Moon is the dream psych project of French-American artist Emily McGill, originally from Chicago but based primarily in Naarm/Melbourne. Milou Moon’s upcoming sophomore EP Rêverie, sung half in English and half in French, is an exploration of Em’s bicultural experience grappling with issues of belonging, duty vs. exploration, and holding these contradictory notions together. 

Sonically, this EP, mastered by Joe Carra (King Gizzard, POND) sees Milou Moon refine her distinctive brand of ethereal psych rock with expansive synthscapes, singular vocal melodies, and more winding musical journeys. Em is currently working on the project’s first full length album with Leigh Fisher (DOPE LEMON, Angus & Julia Stone) and Simon Mavin (Hiatus Kaiyote).
