Kleenex Girl Wonder
Kleenex Girl Wonder is a New York City-based verbose indie rock act consisting of Graham Smith on singing and rhythm guitar and bass at the same time, Thayer McClanahan on guitar of many tones and modalities, and Adam Russin on drums. They play from an esteemed American songbook of everyday pop and rock classics with complicated lyrics and unintuitive song constructions which apparently speak for themselves, but are open for questions. They have been practicing extensively before live shows and are generally considered to be in a longitudinal pocket heretofore unseen by fans. June 29 at The Hideout marks their first full-band Chicago show in over 20 years.

David Singer & The Sweet Science are a Chicago-based rock band who have released 6 albums and played hundreds of shows over their 25 year run. Greg Kot of Sound Opinions called David “one of the city’s best pop craftsmen”. They are currently at work on a new LP, and their single “Crashing” is available everywhere music is stolen.
