While we were sheltered in place over the winter, teacher, writer and public historian Paul Durica held trivia games with the Hideout over zoom as part of our Rec Room series with Soup and Bread which raised thousands of dollars for local food pantries thanks to our generous community. With the help of the Chicago History Museum and The Newberry Library Paul is bringing trivia to the Hideout patio every 3rd Tuesday of the month! Tickets are sliding scale and all proceeds benefit different mutual aid funds each month.
"This month Paul celebrates National Hispanic Heritage month with the Chicago History Museum and Pullman becoming a national monument with the Newberry. With special guests Eduardo Arocho and Ema Pinto. And music by Mr. & Mrs. Wednesday Night. All to benefit mutual aid in Pilsen."
