Hemlock
Hemlock is the “phone-fi” bedroom folk project of swamp-raised musician Carolina Chauffe and various collaborators, currently based in Chicago, IL. Often bare-boned and bittersweet, this is means-to-an-end modern-day folk art for the eager-hearted. A practice of gratitude to the here and now, swaying with rich sun-glinted harmonies and tender finger-picking. An experiment of honest vulnerability, with open arms. A homemade quilt, delicate and enduring. Their recent March 2022 release, ‘talk soon’, is an interstate saga guided along by voicemails and spanning cross-country moves, reimagined relationships, and an ever-evolving idea of home. Pull up a chair and stay a while.

Hotspit
Hotspit is an emotive indie rock band from Richmond, Virginia. The four piece released their debut EP “CC” in August of 2021, just weeks prior to their Audiotree performance, which has to date accumulated over 8,000 streams. Hotspit creates dynamic instrumentation with stirring melodies that can at times tip the scale of what blankets the Indie Rock genre.

Kiwicha
Kiwicha is the musical project of Camila Montoya and Alessia Kato. The Chicago based duo originally began as an improvisational endeavor of complex looping and layering– but quickly shifted into a distinct sonic identity full of lush reverberating spaces paired with rich harmonizing vocals blending elements of shoegaze, dream pop, ambient, and rock to create colorful soundscapes.
