Formed in 2024, The Wildes is a five-piece rock band from Chicago blending guitar-driven energy with subtle yet cinematic synth textures. With heartfelt lyrics and sweeping soundscapes, their music captures the push and pull between vulnerability and power, rooted in rock, but reaching for something more expansive.
The band’s lineup features Johnny Russo on lead vocals, guitar, and piano, Ron Kurek on drums, Kevin Leonard on bass, and dual guitarists Scott McGivern and Don Meehleis. Together, they craft songs that are both raw and layered, balancing melody and mood with anthemic intensity.
