Chicago-based ambient guitar duo DAVi MUSiC is playing a run of midwest shows to celebrate the release of their 8th LP, Good Morning Deja Vu, which came out this July on Flow State records.
While their 2022 release, Freedom Arboretum was composed of carefully performed guitar parts ala Steve Reich’s Electric Counterpoint, Good Morning Deja Vu serves as the perfect counterpoint, using repetition through the use of meticulously spliced and processed tape loops to create evocative and mood enhancing ambient dreamscapes.
