Curls Ultra FKA The Curls are an experimental rock and psychedelic jazz boy band from Chicago USA. Stereogum calls them the “Acid-fried Talking Heads.” They’ve opened for Tame Impala, played Pitchfork Music Festival and run the holistic non profit record label Truth Zone Records. The group recently released a two and a half hour collection of live improvised music on bandcamp titled MKCURLS VOL 3 with all sales being donated to the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund. Their debut studio album American Blood is expected out in the Spring of 2026.
